Bruno Mars, quien llega a nuestro país el 30 de noviembre, lidera las postulaciones a los AMAs 2017 con ocho nominaciones. Luis Fonsi y Daddy Yankee competirán por cuatro premios, entre ellos el premio al video del año y su remix con Justin Bieber por los de colaboración del año y canción favorita de pop-rock.
